After an amazing day on Sunday at our open day, a Monday spent recovering and putting after sun on its back into working again.
The weather was really on our side, i think when i took the golf for a post re-map test it was 22degrees. We had such a good turn out of cars, alfa's, fiats's, bmw's, citroen's, seats's, audi's, mini's, mk1 2 3 4 5 and 6 golfs, splitty's, bay's, type25's t4's t5's, square back and notch type 3, vw eos, porsche's, lupo's, motor home's and the supper cool H van. I'm sure there was a few i didn't even see!!
Angel tuning did 11 remaps on various cars and vans during the day. I had my mk5 140bhp gttdi golf done, now running 180bhp with a load of extra torque. so much better to drive now and its getting an extra 4mpg even with me thrashing it and loving the louder turbo whistle, so expecting an even better gain when i calm down.
Thank you to all whom come over, hope you enjoyed the food and drink.
Thank you to all that helped us out.
We have a load of pics to post up soon but in the mean time chek out www.beakersblog.com for some cool shots before we fill the pages with our pics
Chek out DJ Lee's sound cloud page http://soundcloud.com/corbydjlee12 . Lee gave us some very cool tunes all day. He kept the volume down at times and cranked it when it was needed. It created a sweet atmosphere. A great aspiring dj that can only get better and better and on to bigger things.
6 days to go!!!
BBQ food sorted
Trade stalls sorted and space available
Loads of remaps booked and a few spaces available
Loads of cool cars coming
Simundo dropped his Karman Ghia off after he painted it him self but wasn't happy with the finish he was getting so we gave it some prep work and got it in the booth. looks really cool in int ribena berry purple colour. in dark light is almost black but in the sun its full on purple. sweet looking car!!!!
The petrol tank from Pauls motorbike we painted the frame for ages ago has just been colour matched and had its grafix done.
We had Dans t5 up from London for its bumpers and grill to be colour coded. His front had been done before by someone and was flaking off all over the place. We have now reworked the front and smoothed them both, colour matched his van and painted front and rear bumpers and front grill.
we also fitted a sliding door privacy glass window.
Its about time this van made an apperiance on the blog
A nice looking bay that was starting to need some work. Upon further inspection we found it had a huge amount of filler in every part on the outside 15mm deep in places.
we have now removed all the old filler, fitted a rear corner and battery tray, seat belt repair section, front arch inner area welded, sill section under the sliding door, sill section on the long side and repaired a load of dents. A small amount of filler has been smotthed and its now looking straight again and painted and colour matched to its previous colours.
The help for heroes T4 poped back in for its new rear bumper to be fitted. while it was with us we had Steve from inka audio and security in northampton over to fit a load of electrical equipment, Will from tidy transporters fitting his side bars, the owner of vibe audio dropping off some kit, James Pene editor of volksworld camper and bus volksworld and his photographer and Andy Carpenter a local photographer all over donating ther time and parts for the camper.
