mk3 golf gti 16v in for an external paint detailing. nice original car but had a few scratches and has obviously been through a car wash a few times to many. after a full wash, machine polish then the paint fully preped and waxed it was looking really good.

A few weeks ago jamie brought his nearly finished 1303 cabriolet in for some finishing details. Its a really nice car with a lot of very nice parts! last week it had a photoshoot for volksworld and now its got a new owner. jamie dont mess about with cars, he has just bought another cabriolet that will be getting some ikustms treatment soon

after 7 stichs in my right hand last week this week is a little slower, but work must be done .

skynet blog is all new and updated. ahhhh. iv only just started to work out how to use it and they go and change it.  so only a quick few updates. had a lot of work booked in over the last few weeks so some more very cool cars will be appearing here over the next few months!!!!

last week local golf pro droped his t5 in for a spoiler to be painted and fitted. i asked him if he was playing at the open , he said " no, i was one shot away".

A huge amount of work has now gone into lazylawns short split. i will let the pics do the talking of just how much work and many many hours that have already gone in! although in picture form it all looks very quick and easy! the pics show from arrival to now 4/7/10. first job was a full strip down to bare shell then of to SPL for 3 stage chemical dip. 3 weeks later its back with us for... 2 front arch's, cab floor, sections of cargo floor, refitting of original doors, siezed door pins removed, 2 specially made side's from auto craft, 2 hand made inner sills, 4 rear arch closing pannels, 2 front arch closing pannels, rear pannel van vents fabricated and welding in, lower inner front vallance, lower outter front vallance, lower front nose section, upper front roof gutter rebuild, dash welded back in, loads of small patches and holes welded up, the roof reshaped and rewelded, rear corners reworked and holes welded, the interesting join from the shortening job rewelded(mostly cut out, rebilt by hand and welded back in), we now have a few last holes to weld up, some more bits to fill then its ready to paint.
