collected the parts for t2d's mk3 golf! they will have to make a "tmk3d" sticker for this one. no ordanary golf!!!! its on a type 3 floor pan, has bug suspension and rear air cooled engine!!!! one very cool car! with features and trophys already under its belt they want some top quality paint work doing! so in comes ikustoms. making a start on the pannels very soon and the body in 2 weeks ready for the volks world show.

Deciding on the color for a project is always hard. I painted this model for steve to help him decide before we get to far, i think it looks Sweet!

a busy day today. lots of repairs done on the bug. some major alignment of the deck lid and hood, both now looking good. The body then got hit with etch primer and high build. no time for many pics today as i had to get the bug in primer ready for another big project collection in the morning!!! watch this space!!! its a car many of you will have seen before!

Steve droped off his 58 bug earlier. its had an "american" restoration. its now having a change of colour and some nice detailed paintwork!!! the paint was lacking in depth and a few small dents let it down. the bug arived from the states with a part complete roof, so steve has made all the wood work that it needed and now has a working roof that has been blasted and powder coated.

a good blocking revailed that allmost no filler was lurking and its never been welded!!!! a great solid original car!

The wheels had a few nice coats of high build primer, preped then 2 coats of gloss black.
